My temperament makes my mother laugh

Have you ever heard of the four temperaments? Their is Melancholic, Sanguine, Choleric, and Phlegmatic.
All are quite different, but nonetheless you can be a mix between them.

I have taken the test twice and read 2 articles on my temperament. I am a pure Melancholic, and i was deeply disappointed. Though my brother said that only a Melancholic person would be upset with their result!

It is true though, I take everything much to seriously, and I am very sensitive. Easily depressed, prefer staying away from parties or crowds, and have a hard time expressing truly my intentions/thoughts on any matter.

A priest at camp laughed at me a little and told me not to worry. Melancholics have a place in the world as well. We just need to realise when we are going to far. Their is of course a bad side to every temperament.

But my mom tells my teacher that I am so melancholic. I will do a chore even if I don't want to, and when I say no I come back 10 minutes later crying. Because a melancholic takes sin very seriously. .... almost to the maximum.


I see everything a bit bleaker than everyone else...
But I still know how to have a good time.
